“I try to lead by listening and responding and by trying to give individualised mentorship and guidance to students/trainees as they need it. This naturally evolves over time. I encourage open feedback, and invited group members to mentor and guide others in the group also. I’ve received consistent guidance from my mentors at multiple stages in my career, and wouldn’t be in this position without them, and try to ensure I can do the same for my trainees.”
