How should I answer the Disciplinary History questions in the application?
MIT strives to be a supportive and collaborative community that values individual responsibility, personal growth, and commitment to integrity. In answering the question, please be as accurate as possible. You are encouraged to be sincere in explaining your disciplinary history including the context of your experience, your personal takeaways, and your overall journey surrounding the events that resulted in disciplinary action, both before and after the events in question. The information supplied may be considered as part of the holistic review of an application. An MIT staff member may also contact admitted students to offer resources and support that may be available to assist in the transition to graduate school.
