The OGE Committed to Caring program celebrates MIT faculty who are fantastic mentors to graduate students.
The biennial Celebration of Graduate Women honors a cohort of women based on their leadership and service contributions at the Institute, their dedication to mentoring, and their drive to make changes to improve the student experience.
Each year, MIT awards the Goodwin Medal to a graduate TA or Instructor (G) who has performed above and beyond the norm, and whose teaching efforts can truly be characterized as “conspicuously effective.”
Annually, MIT celebrates outstanding graduate students, undergraduate students, organizations, faculty advisors, and staff members who are supporters of equity through the RISE Awards.
Each spring, we celebrate all of MIT’s graduating underrepresented Master’s and PhD students at MOSAIC.
Additionally, MIT holds an annual Awards Convocation to honor students, faculty, staff, and community members who have made outstanding contributions to the shared life of the Institute.
In addition, we celebrate all graduate students each year during Graduate Student Appreciation Week.
