MIT welcomed 137 Presidential Fellows this year, spanning 24 departments across MIT. In this cohort, EECS was most represented with 29 Fellows, closely followed by Biological Engineering with 10 Fellows and Mathematics with 9. On November 10, the Fellows were celebrated at the annual Presidential Fellows Reception, hosted by Ian Waitz, where they were recognized for their accomplishments and began to build community with one another.
