Graduate Consortium in Women’s Studies

The Graduate Consortium in Women’s Studies (GCWS) offers graduate-level seminars on topics in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies for students in any discipline. The program is a cooperative effort by faculty at Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Simmons College, Tufts University, and the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

GCWS classes are team-taught by faculty from these nine participating institution. Students from all nine institutions, who are enrolled in graduate programs in any discipline, participate in these classes.

Students may apply for individual courses. Admissions decisions are based on the student’s background and brief statement of interest. For more information, view the website.
