Olivia Robinson is a rising junior environmental studies major and economics minor at Spelman College from Louisville, Kentucky. She is passionate about the environment and is interested in solving environmental problems from an economic perspective. She is a Sustainable Spelman Intern and a Curriculum Director for Spelman’s Environmental Task Force. She has researched factors associated with public transportation ridership and is assisting in creating a tree mapping database for Atlanta’s tree canopy to calculate their economic benefits. She is currently interning with MSRP, conducting research in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department assessing the environmental and economic impacts of sustainable aviation fuel production in the United States.
