Biography

Kiana Wilcher was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from Richland Northeast High School. She is currently a second-year Architecture student minoring in Construction Science and Management and Historic Preservation at Tuskegee University. Her interest and skills in math and art inspired her to pursue a degree in architecture. She hopes to use her degree to design spaces that would have long-lasting positive and beneficial impacts on those who enter them and their communities. In Columbia, Kiana took Clean Energy Systems and Mechanical Design courses at the Richland Two Institute of Innovation. These classes sparked an interest in sustainability and Computer-Aided Design, respectively. At Tuskegee University, she is a member of the NOMAS chapter, a volleyball player, an honor roll student, and made the 2021-2022 SIAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team. She enjoys reading, arts, crafts, and sports in her free time.
