Biography

Jordan Houser is a rising junior from Birmingham, Alabama, majoring in architecture at Tuskegee University. This summer, he will work under Dr. Leslie Norford, researching ways to make buildings more energy efficient. He will design a script in Rhinoceros’ companion program Grasshopper, allowing an architect to analyze the heat flow within the building being designed. He is a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMAS) and is a spring 2023 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. Jordan enjoys watching movies, working out, volunteering, mentoring, and cooking food in his free time. His goal is to own a firm where he can work in mixed-use architecture.
