Biography

Damario Berry is a rising senior at Howard University, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. With a deep passion for structural engineering, Damario is driven to advance the design of structures through the application of structural mechanics and mathematical optimization. He has gained valuable professional experience through internships at Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and Walter P Moore, where he actively supported the engineering team on various construction, machine learning, and structural projects. In addition to his academic pursuits, Damario is actively involved in several organizations. He is a dedicated member of Engineer Without Borders, where he contributes to projects aimed at providing sustainable engineering solutions to underserved communities. Damario is also a co-founder of the Youth Mental Wellness Initiative, highlighting his commitment to mental health advocacy and support.
