Biography
My name is Jalen Ridgeway, an undergrad student-athlete at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, studying Exercise Science with a Clinical Concentration. From Bridgeton, New Jersey, born and raised Native American. The Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape is a state-recognized tribe that once inhabited the Eastern Shore. Volunteering in countless community events and Pow-Wows, the community is a big part of my life. A part of the UMES Kinesiology Club, conducting research within the Department of Physics about Radiation Modified Polymer nanocomposites for space vehicles for the University of Maryland NASA’s Artemis Dream Project.
