Biography
Alberto is a rising second year majoring in Chemical and Molecular Engineering at Stony Brook University, where they are a Simons STEM Scholar. He plans on researching radiation tolerant materials for extreme environment applications, mainly ultra high temperature ceramics (UHTCs). Fascinated by fission, fusion, nuclear reactors, and plasma systems, he hopes to contribute to the next generation of sustainable, resilient materials for advanced energy technologies. Beyond the lab, Alberto loves nature, trying new food, video games, listening to music, and going to the gym. He likes to dress well, smell good, and do good science.
