Daniel is a rising senior Mechanical Engineering major at Howard University, interested in Aerospace Design and applied mechanics. He is dedicated to using his engineering ethics and principles to protect underdeveloped nations from the effects of climate change. He was born and raised in Barbados, and his experiences coming from a small island developing state have generated a passion for self-teaching and practical applications of cutting-edge science. His research interests include aircraft design and the environmental effects of aviation and space travel. He is enthusiastic about finding outside-the-box solutions to common challenges and drawing on knowledge across disciplines to solve problems.
