MIT Department: Program in History, Anthropology and Science, Technology and Society

Status: PhD Candidate

I am a PhD candidate in the Program in History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology, and Society (HASTS) here at MIT. I am finishing my dissertation in summer 2017. Before coming to MIT, I earned a BA in Anthropology at Oakland University in Rochester, MI and a MS in Industrial Archaeology at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI. My research examines post-WWII community activism around public policy issues, particularly traffic safety and the traffic safety movement. When not working on my dissertation, enjoy cooking and tap dancing.
