Ashley is a mechanical engineer with a passion for integrating parametric design flows with structural performance. Originally from Chicago, IL, she received her B.S. at Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering where she completed research on cemetitious composite materials. She’s completed her S.M. at MIT in Mechanical Engineering where she is also a part of University Center for Exemplary Mentoring. Currently Ashley is in the Digital Structures group and under the guidance of Professor Caitlin Mueller is working on the design optimization of concrete filler slabs for sustainable construction. Outside of research you can find Ashley cooking or at a local lyra class.
