5 Minute Lightning Talk: Optimizing flow conditions for microencapsulation platform
I am from Upper Marlboro, MD and I am a senior studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. My research interests have evolved from tissue engineering for disease modeling to the applications of bioelectrochemistry and environmental microbiology regarding water quality. My main goal is to obtain a PhD in Environmental Engineering and continue as a research scientist in my field. I want to move in to the field of science policy, looking at the intersection of water quality and public health. Outside of school, I like exploring new restaurants, taking long walks, reading books, and knitting.
