My name is Angelar K. Muthike, a rising senior and Chemistry major at Spelman College. I was born and spent 99% of my life in Makueni, a county in the Eastern part of Kenya, East Africa, prior to joining Spelman. Since my freshman year, I have been an active research assistant focusing on the development and use of coherent multidimensional spectroscopy to address persistent severe congestion problems normally observed in the electronic spectroscopy of many gas phase molecules. I find myself enjoying adventures, reading novels, listening and dancing to African Music during my free time. I plan to pursue a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and focus on Bioanalytical research; probably the application of spectroscopy in dentistry.
