I was born and raised in Nigeria, but I currently live in the Bahamas. I am a rising senior, double majoring in Biology and Chemistry at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. My research interests are very broad, integrating the interdisciplinary fields of molecular biology, biochemistry and virology. Specifically, I am interested in research areas that focus on understanding biological endpoints of mutation, cancer and cell death with the goal of designing novel compounds that could serve as therapeutic agents in treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. My goal is to pursue a MD/PhD program. I enjoy reading, shopping, watching FRIENDS, listening to soul music, more than anything travelling and exploring other cultures.
