Biography
I was brought up in Kimilili but I am originally from Kisumu, Kenya, East Africa. I am a rising senior at Benedict College in Columbia, SC where I study Environmental Engineering. I am interested in environmental remediation and sustainability research foci. At school, I work as a lab research assistant focusing on treatment of wastewater using biomass waste. During my leisure time I enjoy reading novels, taking evening walks as well as dancing. I intend to attend graduate school to pursue a degree in civil and environmental engineering and later on work as a researcher with a non-governmental organization with the hope of starting my own environmental-geared research company.
