Biography
I grew up in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona and go to school in Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University. I am majoring in mechanical engineering and my primary research interest lies in the materials science and applications of nanomaterials, such as carbon nanotubes and graphene. I love to play chess, solve puzzles (ranging from rubik’s cubes to programming challenges), practice judo, learn languages, and play basketball. My main goal in life is to help minimize the loss of consciousness in the world through either lengthening human lives indefinitely or finding a way to copy and simulate consciousness on a medium other than the brain.
