Making Feminist Fitna is a half-day event bringing together local Muslim feminists and allies from academia, activist and art spaces to share, discuss and celebrate Islamic feminist thought. Come to W20 Lobdell (W20-208) on Saturday October 22nd from 12 pm to 5:30 pm for panels and breakout group. Open mic will be from 7 pm to 9 pm at W20 Mezz (W20-307).This event features Dr. Kecia Ali (Department of religion, BU), Saadia Yacoob (Department of religion, Williams college), Dr Zahra Ayubi (Department of religion, Dartmouth college), Dr Elora Chowdhury (WGS, Umass Boston), and Naila Baloch (Associate chaplin and Muslim advisor, Middlebury college).
