The Resources for Easing Friction and Stress (REFS) organization is an umbrella term for one-on-one peer support programs in MIT. One section of REFS, iREFS, serves as a resource to students across the Institute, regardless of departmental affiliation. iREF staff come from a variety of backgrounds and are chosen for their commitment to graduate student wellness and abilities to support their fellows during times of uncertainty, stress or conflict. If you’re ever feeling stressed out or want to talk to someone who knows how to listen, get in touch with REFS. Contact REFS at email@example.com if you’d like to meet with a REFS affiliate.
