IMES Lecture by Dr. Stuart L. Schreiber Dec. 3

On Wednesday, December 3rd, the IMES Distinguished Speaker Series invites you to attend a lecture by Dr. Stuart L. Schreiber: Integrating chemistry and biology to discover small-molecule therapeutics. This lecture will illustrate examples of the evolving role of organic chemistry in therapeutics science relating to infectious disease and cancer. A pre-seminar reception will be held in E25-119 at 4pm, followed by the lecture at 4:30 in 32-155. Dr. Stuart L. Schreiber is the Director of the Center for the Science of Therapeutics and one of four founders of the Broad Institute, where he is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator. A member of the National Academy of Sciences, Schreiber is also the Morris Loeb Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University. Photo by
