Come to the Model-Based Risk-Oriented Systems Engineering (MBROSE) Practical Research workshop on Friday, May 2nd, 2014 from 8:15am to 3:30pm in MIT Room E40-298. The workshop will be led by Yaniv Mordecai (Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Ph.D. Candidate). This practical research workshop is aimed at introducing and demonstrating a novel model-based risk-oriented systems engineering (MBROSE) framework and modeling approach. This approach enriches the core system model with risk modeling, analysis, and management constructs, leading to a system or product design that is more robust, resilient, and risk-oriented. The workshop includes a theoretical review, case study introduction, discussion, and experimentation with MBROSE framework using industrial cases and problems, including ones suggested by workshop participants. This unique setting provides an opportunity for collaboration of system analysts and risk analysts from various domains. For more information, visit the MIT Engineering Systems Division website.
