Over 60 teams from 24 universities across the US expressed interest in this year’s Clean Energy Prize, and 21 were invited to enter the Semifinals. These teams have been paired with mentors, and over the next month and a half, they will prepare for the Finals. The Finals will take place on Sunday and Monday, April 27th and 28th, 2014, where contestants will compete for the $225,000 Grand Prize and three $25,000 Track Prizes. They will come from 12 different universities ranging from UC Berkeley and Arizona State University to, of course, MIT.
