As part of the IMES Distinguished Speaker Series, Bradley Bernstein, MD, PhD, will discuss “Epigenetic Regulation and Heterogeneity in Cancer” on Tuesday, March 18th, at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard Amphitheater, 415 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142. The seminar will begin at 4:30 PM, preceded by a pre-seminar reception at 4 PM.
Dr. Bernstein will discuss emerging concepts and methods in epigenomics, and the application of emerging technologies to characterize the nature and functional significance of gene regulatory programs and epigenetic states in stem cells and human cancers. He is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scientist, who also is a professor of pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and an associate member at the Broad Institute. He is also affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Systems Biology and Center for Cancer Research, and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. See the IMES website for more information.
