The MIT Sidney Pacific/Presidential Fellows Distinguished Lecture Series presents Biomaterials and Biotechnology, a lecture by Institute Professor Robert Langer on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 at 6:30pm (with refreshments at 6:00pm) in the Mark Multipurpose Room of the Sidney Pacific Graduate Residence. This lecture is open to all graduate students. Dr. Langer is a leading researcher and innovator in biotechnology. His research laboratory at MIT is the largest biomedical engineering lab in the world. Dr. Langer has written over 1,200 articles, and has 815 patents worldwide. His patents have been licensed or sublicensed to over 250 pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology and medical device companies. He is the most cited engineer in history.
