MIT’s One Community Room is a private and safe space intended to help build community at MIT. It is designed to foster a sense of belonging and unity on the MIT campus by providing a home for members of our community seeking a quiet space for reflection, meetings, or working groups with a community-based charge. Hours of operation are 6:00am to 11:00pm, seven days a week, year-round. The space may be used without reservation each day between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Entrance to the room is granted via a valid MIT ID card swipe. Room accommodations include a table with six seats, a sofa and chairs which can seat up to six, and additional chairs, which are stored. Cell phones may only be used when one is alone in the room. Visit the website for more information.
