MIT President Rafael Reif discusses online education in the new issue of Time magazine

In a September 26, 2013 Time magazine column entitled “Better, More Affordable Colleges Start Online: How Digital Learning Can Be a Part of Every Campus,” MIT President Rafael Reif discusses the cost, education, and access implications of online education. “I am convinced that digital learning is the most important innovation in education since the printing press,” he explains, adding, “I strongly believe that by capitalizing on the strengths of online learning, we will make education more accessible, more effective and more affordable for more human beings than ever before.” Continue reading this column at Time magazine’s website.
