If you are a woman graduate student and would liked to be matched up with a mentor to help you navigate professional and personal challenges, consider applying to the GWAMIT Mentoring Program. Mentors are drawn from faculty, alumni, and Boston-area professionals. During their one-semester commitment, mentees are responsible for meeting with their mentor each month for a minimum of one hour and attending a beginning-of-term and end-of-term dinner. After one semester, you can choose to continue with your mentor, be matched with another mentor, or leave the program. Applications to the program are due Friday, September 20th. Click here to submit your application, even if you plan to continue with your current mentor. Direct any questions (or recommendations of possible female faculty, alumn, or professional mentors) to email@example.com. Photo by Fortune Live Media.
