Cultural Celebrations on Sunday, March 10!

This year on March 10, join the MIT community to celebrate diversity with several events dedicated to cultures from around the world. Several cultural groups will be providing traditional food, music, performance and games. Spend the day traveling and experiencing the world, all on MIT campus! Turkey
– Hosted in Lobby 13 at 1-5pm, the Turkish Student Association will showcase Turkish culture to the MIT community with free traditional food and music! In line with the theme of Turkish Classical Music, a professional musician will present a classical performance. Please contact tsa-exec@mit.edu for more information.
Bulgaria
– Bulgarian Liberation Day will be celebrated at Ashdown House, where they will be serving traditional Bulgarian food. Join at 1pm if you’d like to help cook, and please RSVP here.
Egypt
– The Egyptian Student Association is hosting an Egyptian Culture Night, including free Egyptian traditional food, music, and a showcase of costumes! Stop by the Sidney Pacific MP Room at 7pm for a night of Egyptian Culture. Contact rakha@mit.edu for more information.
