Screening and lecture with filmmaker and artist Karim Aïnouz on March 11

Karim Aïnouz, Brazilian-Algerian filmmaker and artist, will be lecturing and screening the film I Travel Because I Have To, I Come Back Because I Love You on Monday, March 11th, 2013 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the ACT cube (Wiesner Building, E15-001, lower level, 20 Ames Street, Cambridge, MA).  This event is free and open to the public.  Karim Aïnouz’s work addresses issues of gender, identity, and personal histories.  His films focus on characters who break universal taboos and transcend stereotypes.  For more information about this event, visit the website or contact Laura Anca Chichisan at clauraa@mit.edu.
