Tutor others learning English as a second language!

January 18, 2013

The MIT English as a Second Language Program for Service Employees is looking for volunteers to tutor night shift employees both regularly and as a substitute. Tutoring takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 pm to midnight beginning February 19. This program simply hopes to build a student’s confidence, become more productive, and open up other opportunities to advance. No experience is required; only a good command of English and an interest in helping others is needed. This is a great opportunity to make a positive difference; please contact Jim Eggleston at jceggles@mit.edu for more information.
