The MIT Sidney Pacific / Presidential Distinguished Lecture Series is hosting the event “What’s at Stake? Economic Issues in the 2012 Presidential Election,” a lecture and dinner with Professor Christina Romer (MIT PhD ’85, former chair of President Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, currently Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and co-director of the Program in Monetary Economics at the National Bureau of Economic Research) on Thursday, September 13th, at 6:00pm in the Multipurpose Room of Sydney Pacific (the lecture begins at 6:30pm). She will speak on the current state of the American economy, and the important economic policy issues facing the country in the upcoming election.
